English Daily 9. 영어 문장 늘리기 연습

영어로 된 문장을 떠올리면, 간단한 문장만 떠오르는 경우가 대다수이다. 문장이 길어지면 어떻게 영작해야 할지 난감 하기 때문에 단계별로 문장을 늘려가면서 영어로 길게 표현하는 것에 익숙해 져야 한다.

영어는 기본적으로 주어 + 동사 + a로 구성되면 완벽한 문장이 된다.

I am a girl.
I am hungry.
I have dinner.

하지만, 이렇게 짧게만 이야기 하면 나의 생각을 표현하기에 한계가 생기며, 언어를 잘 하지 못하는 외국인의 느낌이 날 수 밖에 없다.

나는 소녀이다.
배고파.
저녁을 먹는다.

그렇기 때문에 하나의 문장을 가지고 하고자 하는 말을 계속 늘려가는 것을 연습해야 한다.
